Last year we had the distinct pleasure of meeting Oscar tour guide “extraordinaire.”He “made” our vacation. We went on a number of excursions with Oscar and came away from each one with more knowledge and appreciation of the people, culture and beauty of the area. The tours Oscar offered ranged from releasing baby turtles at sunset, a beautiful breakfast and cooking demonstration with an indigenous family,amazing botanical garden, coffee plantation in the mountains, the beach and village where he grew up and a special chance to meet his wonderful 2 young sons.
